Overview

The Board of NJHIMA is pleased to invite you to participate in our 2011 Annual Meeting to be held June 15, 16, and 17 at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. We are confident the Trump Taj Mahal provides both the attendees and the exhibitors with attractive meeting space, reasonable guest room rates and many opportunities for evening events.

The theme for the 2011 meeting is Broadway; the title for the meeting is:
“Health Information Management – Unlimited Engagement”.

NJHIMA has made some important changes for the 2011 Meeting and would like to reinforce the following information:

  • This year, to encourage more traffic in the exhibit hall on Friday, we will be holding our Brunch in the Exhibit Hall and including a ticket to the brunch for exhibitors. We will hold the Brunch early enough for you to enjoy the meal and conduct the exhibitor raffles before 11:30, allowing you time to break down and leave by early afternoon. We request we do not dismantle your booths prior to or during the Brunch. We have eliminated the To Go Boxed Lunch.

  • This year, the theme awards for best booth will be decided upon by the attendees. We will ask them to cast their vote; the exhibitors with the highest number of votes by Brunch on Friday will be deemed the first, second and third winners.

  • NJHIMA will again include a Coding Track beginning on Wednesday evening, June 15th. However, we will NOT have exhibitor tables at that event this year. Nearly everyone attending the Wednesday night sessions also attended the annual meeting, and therefore had access to the exhibit hall on Thursday and Friday. Of course, exhibitor representatives may attend the Wednesday night Coding Track as an attendee and register separately for that session.

  • We will be preparing badges with the exhibitor representative’s names. Please make every effort to provide us with the names of your representatives by June 1st.

  • The number of tickets included with the booth registration to :

    Single booth: 2 tickets to Thursday luncheon, 2 tickets to Thursday Reception, 1 ticket to Friday Brunch

    Double booth: 4 tickets to Thursday luncheon, 4 tickets to Thursday Reception, 2 tickets to Friday Brunch

    Please purchase tickets only if you require more tickets than what is included. The Thursday reception will have a (1) hour open bar, one (1) hour cash bar; hot and cold stations and hors d’ouvers.

  • NJHIMA will schedule exhibit hall only time, an exhibitor game to encourage traffic in the exhibit hall, exhibitor raffles and the Silent Auction to benefit the Scholarship Fund.

Education sessions and meal events are scheduled so there are a minimum of four hours exclusive exhibit time.

Convention Services

NJHIMA has contracted with Vista Convention Services for handling the exhibit hall set up, to receive and deliver your shipments and to provide optional services and supplies that you may wish to order. Registered exhibitors will receive the link to download the exhibitor kit upon receipt of payment.

Exhibitors can transport only wheeled booth displays to exhibit hall.

Vista Convention Services will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing all advanced shipments and large displays received onsite.

Internet access can be ordered through the Taj Mahal. The form is included in the exhibitor kit.

Sponsorships

NJHIMA offers many opportunities to sponsor events at the Annual Meeting. All sponsors are listed in the meeting program and at signage at the event. Sponsorship opportunities are listed on the exhibitor registration page


NJHIMA Scholarship Donation

NJHIMA extends the opportunity to make a donation to the NJHIMA scholarship fund.  All donations are listed in the meeting program.  If you are interested in donating, please complete the applicable section on the exhibitor registration page.

Booth Decoration Contest

First Place- will receive a $100.00 credit towards 2012 meeting. 

Second and Third Place- $75 credit towards 2012 meeting


Security

NJHIMA has hired security for the duration of the meeting.  Continuous coverage from Wednesday June 16th at 3 p.m. through Friday June 18th at 3 p.m.  However, exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of the exhibitor’s activities on the Hotel premises and will indemnify, defend and hold harmless NJHIMA, the hotel, their agents, servants and employees from any and all such losses, damages and claims.  NJHIMA reserves the right to request and vendor agrees to provide a certificate of insurance upon request.


Continuing Education Credits

There is a discounted meeting registration fee for exhibitors who wish to attend educational sessions.  Registration for educational sessions is separate from the exhibitor registration process.
