Full Professor - Health Information TechnologyCompany Name: Guttman Community College Job Description: Stella and Charles Guttman Community College, City University of New York, seeks an accomplished practitioner-educator in Health Information Technology (HIT) to serve as the Director of the Program and also teach in the program. This position will begin fall 2022. Guttman's HIT program combines lectures and labs and follows a curriculum based on current associate degree entry-level competencies outlined by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). The HIT faculty member will have the opportunity to further shape the program and to help students master the knowledge and skills that are expected of entry-level professionals in this fast-growing field. The successful candidate will also share the College's vision to serve a linguistically and culturally diverse student body and will be committed to preparing urban community college students for academic success and completion.
