Job Description:  To accurately code and process medical records for outpatients on a timely basis with a major focus on ancillary departments.

Required Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two to three years Hospital Outpatient CPT-4 coding experience required. 
  
• CCS or CPC-H required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding, Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology required.

Preferred Qualifications:  

• 3M Encoder experience preferred
• Knowledge of Medical Necessity OCE, LCD and NCD edits preferred.
