Introduction: Overlook Medical Center a member of Atlantic Health System is looking for a lead coding specialist for thier Health Information Management Dept. F ull time position Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Job Description: Essential Functions: Coding Compliance audits on OP accounts, New coder education, Coding and Abstracting, Manages coding claim edit WQ in EPIC, assists PFS dept with claims issues. Works with external depts on data integrity/registration issues, performance improvement initiatives, insurance denials-using Cobius tool, other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: 5 years HIM experience required

Preferred Qualifications: RHIA,RHIT, or CCS preferred
